Synopsis
The rich and proud Matteo Diaz loves and admires his crippled wife. Maria is sad and resigned about her noble Spaniard's seeking elsewhere the pleasures she can't give him. But Matteo meets a magnificent creature named Eva and he is overwhelmed with violent desire. Little by little, that desire gets the better of his reason and he gives up his wife, his fortune, his name and his honor.
