Synopsis
Oka is the family home of an artist in Bamako, the home that ties him to his ancestors, his history, and his memories, and the place from where his sisters were forcibly removed in 2008. It’s also about Mali, his country that he has seen tip into war, despite the traditions of tolerance it had embodied since it became independent. The fight for the truth pushes the artist to speak out and take a stand.
