Synopsis

A recently discharged sailor comes to a small village and offers to help an old bachelor fix up his property. The sailor recruits unemployed Parisians, provoking the jealousy of one of the village boys. Though there is much discord in the ranks, the sailor has the last word and marries the lovely Ginette.
