Synopsis

August, 1572. Marguerite de Valois, sister of King Charles IX, is young, beautiful and Catholic. To strengthen France, her mother Catherine de Médicis forces her to marry the protestant Henri de Navarre. But the Saint Barthélemy massacre is around the corner. Though sacrificed to the interests of the state, Margot finds love with another Huguenot - Lord de la Mole.
