Synopsis
The last summer of the Algerian War of Independence.
Ali is a 10 year old newspaper boy. His world is a world of war and childhood. In his world, there are the bombings and colonial apartheid. There’s his father, an Independence fighter. And Nico, Ali’s best friend. While their French friends leave one by one and while their Algerian friends are arrested and executed. Can such a friendship survive the arbitrary of war?
