Synopsis

Would you go back and live with your parents? At 40, Stéphanie is forced to move back in with her mother’s. She is welcomed with open arms into this over-heated apartment with old-fashioned songs playing on a loop, feverish Scrabble parties, and precious maternal advice on how to behave at the table and lead one’s life. Mother and daughter both have to exercise infinite patience to live back under the same roof. And when the other siblings (Mathilde Seigner, Jérôme Commandeur, and Philippe Lefèbvre) arrive for dinner, the family secrets all come gaily to the fore in the kind of outpouring that can sometimes be healthy. Welcome to the perilous terrain of family life!
