Synopsis
Aix-en-Provence, one spring night. Christian Lespinglet, a gallery owner up to his neck in debt, saves Boudu, a homeless man who was trying to drown himself in the waters of a canal. A hero against his will, he takes the man home with him, for just a few hours…
Boudu's unexpected arrival creates utter turmoil in Christian's already complicated life. Caught between his depressive, pill-popping wife, Yseult, and an art gallery heading for ruin, Christian is a "bobo" on the verge of asphyxia.
