Synopsis
Arlette is an orphan. She is taken in by her cousins, four old maids who live out of town. The eldest, Telcide, is very domineering. Arlette discovers that Marie was kept from marrying the professor she loved and Arlette arranges for them to be married. In return, Marie sets about getting Telcide to accept Arlette's fiancé.
