Korea is known by its people as the Land of the Morning Calm. We will here discover the breaking of the calm, the shattering of a nation, the death of more than two million soldiers and three million Korean civilians through the eyes of United States and Canadian United Nations soldiers, but especially through the eyes of Koreans. 2003 marks the 50th anniversary of the armistice that stopped the fighting but did not end the Korean War; both side are now finally ready to resume the unfinished war.
