Synopsis

Pierre Trévoux' friends, out for a little fun, simulate the robbery of his home and the kidnapping of young Arlette. But Pierre, always boasting of his courage, had recently snatched up a handbag during a street crime and that bag is compromising for a local mob boss. The real gangsters' efforts and Pierre's friends' jokes get entangled and poor Arlette is doubly kidnapped. Pierre, himself, finally saves her.
