Synopsis

An author named Germain, specialist in the " perfect crime, " lives with his wife Rita, his " ghostwriter " Louis, his secretary and a hanger-on named Robert who spends his time carrying out dangerous chemical experiments. In a single day, two attempts are made on Germain's life and, with the help of a detective, he discovers his wife is cheating on him with Robert. He lays out an elaborate scheme for revenge.
