Synopsis

Milan and Roberte, whose passionate love for each other led to the death of one of their friends, take refuge in a small village. Milan falls in love with the youthful Hélène, a recent arrival to the village. At the age of forty, Milan leaves both Hélène and Roberte and goes back to his first love - automobile racing.
