Synopsis

Paris, 1955. The landlord's son falls in love with the daughter of the building concierge. Both sets of parents disapprove of the romance. Quarrel after quarrel, things quickly escalate to all out war between the two families. Then, suddenly, the hostilities give way to consternation - the young lovers have disappeared.
