Synopsis

Jealous of his nephew's son for Miquette, the marquis takes the young lady to Paris, promising to make her dreams of becoming an actress come true. Under Monchablon, the owner of a small theater, Miquette finds herself acting in the same troupe as her mother. The life in the theater makes the mother's head spin, but Miquette starts to get homesick.
