Synopsis

At a costume party, a young out-of-towner meets Fanny Legrand and falls madly in love with her. Later, the young man learns that Fanny used to be a terrible flirt. He leaves her, then comes back and forgives her. But when he leaves for America, Fanny won't go with him.
