Synopsis

Paris, late 1941. History sews a yellow star over the hearts of two Jewish boys, Joseph and Maurice Joffo, ten and twelve years old. They make for Menton, in the free zone, each one carrying 5,000 francs. Left to their own devices, they roam through a world of uniforms, railways, rifles and prison walls.
