Synopsis
Jacky is the lover of Agathe, an Italian woman well beyond his years. Partly because she's weary of him and partly because of her esteem for Dr. Dampier, Agathe drifts away from Jacky who, after numerous arguments, disappears. When he comes back to " these parts " he meets Gillou, the young mistress of Edouard, Agathe's brother. In the course of an argument, Gillou kills Edouard, but Jacky confesses to the murder.
