The Square

From the outside it looks like Raymond Yale has it all. The wife, the boat, the house on the water. The only thing missing from his life is true love. So when Carla Smith moves into the neighbourhood with her controlling husband, their affair instantly becomes an escape from their empty lives.
Then Carla finds a briefcase of cash hidden in her house. Despite Ray's initial caution desperation overrides logic and they formulate a plan to steal the money by burning down her house. Of course the carefully arranged arson doesn't go to plan. Too late to call it off comes the news that someone is inside the house. Alarm bells are sounded and suspicions are raised. Then, just as they think they've got away with it, the first blackmail note arrives.
