Synopsis

Spring, 1945. A small, out-of-the-way town largely destroyed by the bombing. The end of the war should bring celebration but in the minds of communists and " collaborators " peace has trouble finding its place. The tension mounts as word gets out that Maxime Louin, the author of pro-Hitler articles under Occupation, has returned and is hiding somewhere in town.
